Create and manage teams in bulk with CSV import

Setting up your team structure in Swarmia just got easier. You can now import and update teams and membership in bulk using a CSV file, no GitHub teams or API setup required.

This is especially useful if you’re new to Swarmia and haven’t configured your teams yet, or if you already maintain team membership in a spreadsheet.

For a fresh import, download the CSV template from Swarmia, fill in your team names, optional parent teams, and member details, then upload it back. Before anything changes, you’ll get a chance to review and confirm.

If you want to update existing teams, just export your current setup as a CSV, make your edits — add members, rename teams, adjust the hierarchy, and re-upload. The same review step applies, so there are no surprises.

After the import, you can continue making changes directly in Swarmia.

To get started, go to settings → teams & members, click create teams, and select import teams from CSV.
